Do social welfare pay for au pairs if you are single mom?
Me and my 20yr old boyfriend have just discovered we are pregnant!! I've just celebrated my 21st birthday. We are real happy. Moneys not a problem, i live with my parents and my boyfriend lives round 4 minutes walk wtih his parents. We are not going to work. I want to go to uni and so does my boyfriend. Thats cool. Mum says she'll pay to have someone mind the baby and we will work it out, tons of support. However my boyfriend and i would like our own place. Mum may be upset about me moving out. But i just wnat to know do welfare payments stretch to paying or childcare, nurses/au pairs? I dont want to be stuck 24/7 wtih my baby. But i'm sure mum will cover payments for care anyhow. Just wondering? Thanks
