Songs about missing texas.?

I am a true blooded Texan. My mom is a Floridian but I was born and raised in Texas until I was 8. Then me and my mom moved but I go back every year to see my dads family. There is no place like Texas for me. The feeling I get when I walk down the streets in my hometown, see my old school. I am just looking for some good songs about the wonderful country (I feel it is its own country) or about missing it. I am not only looking for me but for my boyfriend who also lived in Texas when I did. We both moved at the same time and we only lived about 15 minutes from each other. Now we find each other at our school here in Florida. Weird how it all works out, huh? But ya, the songs lol. And if you could, I go for more modern country (which is probably all you find)
